Choose an Action-Plan Trigger
The trigger defines when the system should consider enrolling a contact. Conditions should narrow that event to the intended people.
Where to find it: an Action Plan → Trigger
What to do
- Name the real-world event you want to respond to.
- Choose the closest supported trigger.
- Add source, tag, stage, score, or other conditions only when needed.
- Check whether the same contact can enter more than once.
- Run a positive and a negative test.
Good to know
- A broad trigger can enroll far more contacts than expected.
- Changing an active trigger does not necessarily rewrite enrollments already in progress.
